So, here's a link to the beginning of my first Greek set: Greek Proverbs 1. I'll keep adding to that. I've pasted in 10 of the proverbs below and for each proverb I've linked to what (I think) is the most difficult Greek word at the Logeion site. You can always use Logeion to search for definitions of other words too. I've write more posts with 10 Greek proverbs at a time.
I've split each proverb in half to make it easier to understand how the structure works:
Ἐξ ὄνυχος
τὸν λέοντα.
Δὶς καὶ τρὶς
τὸ καλόν.
Πρίν κεν λύκος
οἶν ὑμεναιοῖ.
Μηδὲ χελιδόνας
ἐν οἰκίᾳ δέχεσθαι.
Ἐκ τοῦ καρποῦ
τὸ δένδρον γινώσκω.
Ἄλλων ἰατρός
αὐτὸς ἑλκεσιν βρύων.
Δός μοι τοῦ στῶ
καὶ κινῶ τὴν γῆν.
Εἰπὼν ἃ θέλεις
ἀντάκουε ἃ μὴ θέλεις.
Ἀνὴρ ἀτεχνὴς
τοῖς πᾶσίν ἐστι δοῦλος.
Τὸ γὰρ γράμμα ἀποκτένει
τὸ δὲ πνεῦμα ζῳοποιεῖ.
Below is an embedded matching game for all the proverbs in the set, so you'll see some of the proverbs I've listed above, plus other proverbs in the set. The idea is to drag one half of the proverb on the matching other half in order to clear the board:
